Lions Mane (Heat Tolerant)
Extend your growing season with our Heat Tolerant Lion's Mane. While standard Lion's Mane often struggles or deforms in temperatures above 20°C, this robust genetic isolation loves the warmth. It is an aggressive coloniser that produces beautiful, heavy clusters of icicle-like spines, even during the summer months.
IDEAL GROWING CONDITIONS
Lion’s Mane - Hericium erinaceus
Substrate: Supplemented hardwood sawdust
Colonisation Temperature: 21°C – 24°C
Pinning Temperature: 18°C – 24°C
Pinning Humidity: 95%
Fruiting Temperature: 18°C – 32°C
Fruiting Humidity: 85% – 90%
WHAT’S INCLUDED
10ml liquid culture syringe containing live Hericium erinaceus mycelium.
Sterile alcohol wipe.
18G sterile injection needle, suitable for inoculating your chosen substrate or grow kit.
All components are sealed in a secure, resealable zip-lock bag for protection and cleanliness.
ABOUT OUR LIQUID CULTURE
Our liquid culture consists of a nutrient-rich solution made from distilled water, light malt extract, dextrose, and honey. Providing an optimal environment for vigorous mycelium growth. Think of mycelium as the “seed” of the mushroom: once established, it can be used to inoculate a variety of substrates or grow kits to begin fruiting your own mushrooms.
STORAGE & QUALITY ASSURANCE
For best results, use your Lion’s Mane liquid culture as soon as possible to maintain maximum freshness and viability. If immediate use isn’t possible, store the culture in a refrigerator (not a freezer) for up to 3 months.
All our liquid cultures are freshly prepared to order in a controlled laboratory environment using a laminar flow hood to ensure sterility. Every batch is tested on agar and grain to verify purity and performance, guaranteeing that you receive only the highest-quality cultures for successful mushroom cultivation.
