Strain-Specific Cultivation
Super simple: All use liquid culture injected into our pre-filled 2kg hardwood grow bags (sterilised hardwood sawdust + 20% bran + whole wheat. Just clean hands, alcohol wipe, inject, incubate warm & dark. No fancy equipment needed!
🍄Cordyceps militaris (Use jars)
1. Fill wide-mouth jars (1/2 pint to 1 quart) with hydrated rye/wheat grain (soak overnight, drain excess water).
2. Pressure cook 90 min at 15 PSI, cool completely.
3. Wipe lid with alcohol, inject 2-4ml LC through injection port.
4. Incubate 22-25°C dark cupboard (21+ days). Shake jar when 20-30% white (mycelium).
5. Fruiting: Open lid, mist daily, 18-22°C, high humidity bag. Orange clubs appear 4-6 weeks.
6. Lighting: Place near window away from direct sunlight for 12hrs/day or use artificial lighting (6400k). Harvest clubs before spores.
🍄Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum)
1. Grab your 2kg grow bag (arrives sterile). Wipe injection port with alcohol.
2. Inject 5-10ml LC through self-healing port. Massage bag gently.
3. Incubate 25-28°C dark (slower, 21-35 days). White mycelium spreads fully.
4. Fruiting: Cut small X slits top, mist 2x daily, 24-30°C, 85%+ humidity (plastic tent).
5. Varnished conks/antlers grow 2-4 months. Harvest when firm/kidney-shaped.

1. 2kg hardwood grow bag ready. Alcohol wipe port, inject 5-10ml LC.
2. Fast coloniser! Incubate 24°C dark 10-18 days. Shake bag once at 30% white.
3. Fruiting: Cut top X, mist daily, 18-24°C, 85-90% humidity, fresh air 2-3x/day.
4. Icicle "teeth" cascade down in 2-3 weeks. Cold shock (fridge overnight) = more pins!
5. Harvest when teeth elongate 1-2cm.

2. Incubate 22-26°C dark 14-25 days till fully white.
3. Fruiting: 15-24°C, 80-90% humidity. Cut slits or open top, mist daily.
4. Multi-coloured leathery fans appear 1-2 months. Great on outdoor chips too!
5. Harvest when fans flatten (continuous yield).

1. Inject 5-10ml LC into 2kg hardwood substrate bag indoors (20-25°C, 14-21 days till fully white).
2. Source fresh oak/beech logs (4-6" diameter) Drill 1" deep holes in diamond pattern around log.
3. Break open colonised bag, pack holes tight with grain + mycelium using spoon or inoculator. Hammer firm.
4. Seal ALL holes + log ends with cheese wax or beeswax. Stack in shady spot.
5. Mycelium runs 12-18 months. Soak logs 24hrs to trigger – meaty caps burst out for 3-5+ years! Mealtime reward!
