Parafilm laboratory film supplied as a 100 mm wide × 1 metre cut length.
Parafilm is a flexible, stretchable laboratory sealing film commonly used for sealing Petri dishes, culture vessels, tubes, flasks and jars.
It is particularly useful for agar work and mushroom culture, where it can be stretched around the edge of Petri dishes to help reduce moisture loss and provide an additional barrier against airborne contaminants.
The generous 100 mm width can easily be cut into narrower strips to suit agar plates and other laboratory applications.
