Each clear bag measures approximately 32 × 45 cm and is made from 60-micron (0.06 mm) high-temperature-resistant plastic. A breathable filter patch allows gas exchange during colonisation while helping to reduce exposure to airborne contaminants.
The larger size provides additional room for preparing grain spawn, supplemented substrate and larger cultivation blocks. The clear material makes it easy to monitor moisture, mycelium growth and the overall condition of the contents without opening the bag.
These grow bags are intended for mushroom cultivation and heat-based preparation. The supplier describes the material as free from high-concern chemicals and suitable for cultivating edible mushrooms and plants.
No specific maximum temperature or sterilisation cycle has been supplied. Use an appropriate validated method and prevent the bags from touching exposed heating elements or excessively hot metal surfaces.
